Key differences with our latest MK2 product line are the fact that the MK1 only renders up to 16 different native channels (currently 24 for the MK2) and doesn't support DTS:X Pro and IMAX Enhanced. The MK2 also introduced a new proprietary analog/digital hybrid volume adjustment maximizing the dynamic range and a new XLR input.
The rest of the features are software based and compatible with both MK1 and MK2 platforms. Our acclaimed user-friendly, web-based interface that allows for a full configuration in only a few steps—the StormRemote iPad control application, the control system drivers to facilitate the ISP integration in any advanced theatre design, the ROON ready integration, Dirac Live with Bass Control, and StormAudio's expert Bass Management—all of this is included in all StormAudio products, MK1 or MK2!
